We typically schedule estimates within one to two business days of your request. After the on-site visit, you get a written scope and price — usually the same day or the next morning.

We do not. Every property is different, and we need to see the surfaces, the condition, and the access to give you a real number. A phone quote is a guess, and we do not guess.

What is in the written scope?

Every surface to be painted, the prep work included, the products and sheen, the coat count, what is not included, and the price. The price at the end is the price you agreed to.

Do you offer payment plans?

We accept credit cards. We do not offer financing or payment plans. Payment terms are included in the written scope.

Do you move furniture?

We ask that you remove small items, electronics, and fragile pieces. We move larger furniture away from the walls and cover it. We protect all floors with rosin paper and plastic sheeting every day we are in your home.

How do you protect my floors and furniture?

We use rosin paper on floors, plastic sheeting on furniture, and tape to seal edges. We put it down before we start and take it up when we finish each day. Your property is protected the entire time we are there.

What prep work do you do before painting?

We wash, scrape, sand, caulk, mask, and spot-prime. Paint fails from underneath, so that is where the hours go. The specific prep varies by surface and is listed in your written scope.

Do you repair drywall before painting?

Yes. We fill nail holes, patch small holes and dents, and caulk gaps. If you need larger drywall repair — water damage, ceiling patches, texture matching — we handle that too.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the scope. A single room takes one to two days. A full interior takes a week or more. An exterior takes four to seven days. You get a specific timeline in the written estimate.

What paint brands do you use?

We primarily use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore. We recommend the product line and sheen based on the room, the surface, and how the space is used. You get the product name in your written estimate.

Can you help me choose colors?

Yes. We talk through color and sheen options during the estimate and can bring sample decks. We can also paint test patches on your walls so you can see the color in your lighting before deciding.

What sheen should I use?

It depends on the room. Flat for ceilings, eggshell or satin for walls in most rooms, semi-gloss for trim, doors, and high-moisture areas like bathrooms. We recommend based on the space and how it is used.

Do you use low-VOC or zero-VOC paint?

Yes, we can. Most of the product lines we use offer low-VOC or zero-VOC options. If air quality or sensitivity is a concern, let us know and we will recommend the right product.

Do you work weekends?

We work Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. For commercial projects, we can schedule nights and weekends to avoid disrupting your operations. We discuss scheduling during the estimate.

Do I need to leave my home during painting?

Not usually. We work room by room and seal off the area we are in. If we are spraying ceilings or using strong-smelling products, we will let you know in advance so you can plan.

Do you work with builders and general contractors?

Yes. About 90% of our work is for builders and GCs. We handle phase scheduling, multi-unit turns, and repeatable finish quality. We coordinate directly with the GC on phasing.

How far in advance do I need to schedule?

Yes. We clean up daily and do a full cleanup at the end of the project. We haul away debris, remove tape and plastic, and leave the space clean. We walk the work with you before we leave.

We walk the work with you at the end of the project and handle touch-ups on the spot. If you notice something after we leave, call us and we will come back to fix it.

Do you offer a warranty?

We stand behind our workmanship. If something fails because of how we prepped or applied the coating, call us and we will make it right. We do not offer a formal written warranty.

How do I maintain my paint after the job?

Keep walls clean with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners on flat paint. For exteriors, pressure wash gently once a year to remove dirt and mildew. We can advise on maintenance specific to your product and surfaces.
