Our Story
A 15-person family crew founded in 2020 by Jesus Castro, working across DFW. His father works alongside him. The tradesmen carry 20+ years in the trade.
How It Started
Jesus Castro started Cast Castro Painting in 2020. He runs the jobs himself, and his father works alongside him. The company is small by design — fifteen people, most of whom you will see on your project and the next one.
The tradesmen on the crew carry 20+ years of painting experience. The company was founded in 2020. Those are two different things, and both matter. The experience is in the hands doing the work. The company is the structure that makes sure the work gets done the same way every time.
About 90% of the work is for builders and general contractors. That means phase scheduling, multi-unit turns, and repeatable finish quality across many units. The other 10% is direct residential — homeowners who want the same level of prep and finish the builders get.
What Prep-First Means
Wash First
Every surface gets cleaned before anything is applied. Paint over dirt, grease, or mildew fails. We start clean.
Scrape And Sand
Loose paint comes off. Feathered edges get sanded smooth. We do not paint over failure and hope it holds.
Caulk And Prime
Gaps get caulked. Bare wood and repairs get primed. Primer is what makes the topcoat stick.
Mask Everything
Floors, furniture, hardware, landscaping. If it is not getting painted, it gets protected.
Check In Daylight
We check the work in daylight, not under work lights. If a wall is not right, we redo it.
Walk It Together
Before we leave, we walk the work with you. Touch-ups happen on the spot. Cleanup is last.
