How We Prepare
Prep is where the hours go and where the finish lasts. Here is the sequence for exterior painting.

- 02Scrape all peeling and flaking paint down to sound substrate
- 03Sand feathered edges of old paint for a smooth transition
- 04Replace or repair rotted wood trim and fascia boards
- 05Caulk all gaps around windows, doors, and trim joints
- 06Spot prime all bare wood and repaired areas with bonding primer
- 07Mask windows, landscaping, concrete, and anything not being painted
